condition, actual mileage, rust situation, and location variables all relevant. otherwise you're looking at a valuation range of $5,000-$15,000 depending on those vs. current demand.

Wait, huh? First post says you're just curious but last indicates you have it.
So you picked one up to flip? Pics or it didn't happen!

Ok, OP, let the cat out the bag; how much did you lighten your wallet????

I will be wheeler dealering a 89 S here shortly; it wil be the first 900 I try to flip, but I am getting the car free so all profit less my time and spare parts....

yes, no pics, no deal went down; you know the drill..

snatch it up like free cheese!

needless to say tow it home and drain every fluid before even thinking of cranking it...

I would drop the fuel tank and clean it out!!!!!!!!!!!!! but thats me.... Even better if you had a parts car swap fuel tanks out...

as many new rubber seals/grommets you can afford....

Nice Find! My 91 SE came to me in far worse condition after sitting 2 years. I paid $450....

I am not too keen on thr older models, but form the pics it looks like you did well... is that the model people alwasy talk about the biodegradable loom?

then swap that out immediately if so.

I think you can sleep good with that price.. Dont be tempted to start it until you serviced it.. thats all I would suggest....

Keep us posted...

Looks like good potential there. And a complete pre-facelift SPG kit is like gold, right?
Love the flat-front C900s !!

yup, 85 harnesses are awful... ask me how I know.

Cool car, I had an 85 SPG for awhile, but I bought it in pretty rough shape and just used it as a winter beater. Scrapped it with over 300k on the clock. I think one in nice shape would make a really nice collector car.

Flat faced 900T's/SPG's don't get the love 87+ SPG's do, but they are nice! They look 10x better in person. Post more pics when you pick her up!

Not bad for $1000! I got my last '85 SPG for free, but had to part it out. The PO said he was worried about it catching fire with the rotting wiring harness, but when I took it all apart, the wiring harness was awesome! Too bad he let it sit so long or I would have got it up and running again. Lots of mouse nests - even some dead mice in the engine bay.

the rust of the fender is the only place the hoops, lower control arms and floors are solid..the car was owned until 2010 by its original owner and has been carefully serviced and garage kept until its 2nd owner who drove it until it stopped running and parked it. My goal is to get everything right again and sell it.
