For sale: 1977 Saab 99 EMS.
Let me start off by saying that this is not my car. A friend of mine in Indiana came across this car and we would like to see it restored rather then to see it rot away. Neither of us have any financial interest in this. It belongs to the owner of a shop called Autosport (http://www.autosportinc.com). The car has been sitting for probably about five years. Please note that this car would need a complete restoration.
It's a '77 EMS. I don't know much about these as far as where to look for rust, etc, but I'm used to Alfas and I've seen much, much, much worse. The car is really complete. The interior is somewhat dismantled but mostly still there. The soccerball rims are there and in good condition. Once again, this is not my car, I have no financial interest in this, I just hope somebody can save it. You can contact either me (alfa.105 -at- hotmail -dot- com) or the owner of the shop for more information. It would need a total restoration, but it has a lot of potential, it'd be a very good project. Serious offers will be considered. ![]() Last edited by milano; 02-15-2006 at 06:58 PM. |

I'm not sure what he's looking to get out of it, to be honest with you. I think that all serious offers will be considered.

Maybe I've gotten used to it from working with Alfas, but rust is really not that bad. Any competent body shop can fix it for you. It takes money, but all restorations do. Keep in mind this is a restoration project, not a car you can jump start and drive away.
So, in my opinion, the rust on this car isn't very bad. |
