99 Turbo

Picked this up for one of my good customers whose SPG got munched by an errant bus on the LA freeways.

This is my next fun shop project. Eventually it's going to get his Dave Kennedy 16V engine and later C900 suspension.

The car was bought new in Arizona and has spent it's whole life in Tucson, owner we picked it up from has had it since around '84 (he couldn't remember for sure).

There is not a spec of rust on the car. Made the ~8hr drive from Tucson to LA pretty much without a hitch, took it easy for a while, then were booking along pretty good at 70-75 mph.

It was re-painted once, and interior was redone once.

144,xxx original miles, engine and trans never been opened.

Looks excellent Drew. That engine bay is in very good condition indeed. It'd be interesting to see more of the interior.

I'll be picking up my 99T before too long, and hope that it's in similar condition when I finally get to take it home.

that is beautiful... I'm jealous

In the process of unloading my powerstroke and 92 9000 right now. Once I get things thinned out and the 9-5 all up to snuff where I'd like it, then I will start 99 hunting

looks awesome! Nice to see it's been cared for so well.
Too bad your customer had to end up with it due to his SPG being squashed, but the ending should will be good.
