Some period-correct lunch parking friends...

I drove the new-to-me '78 99 to work today and a coworker and I also took it to lunch. As we walked out of the restaurant, I was surprised to see that I had attracted a period-correct Euro parking friend. Behold:



The 300TD was obviously beater-ish, much like my 99. The later-model AMG wheels looked nice on it.

A female friend of mine has a 1978 merc as her everyday car, she gets more excited than I do when I drive my 99 Turbo. Never taken a photo, may have to next time.

When I had my 74 EMS I was always excited to see a BMW 2002 of the same era.

I got it last week. It was the last one left in town AFAIK since I sold the orange car.

You're the first person to like the color. I hate it. Maybe it'll grow on me... But probably not.

Thanks. I moved it to the garage of my new house a couple of nights. Sadly, it has been demoted from DD duties because my girlfriend broke the cheap key copy off in the ignition Sunday.
