Greg C's 99T - Stolen and Recovered..

Quote:
My 1980 16vt notchback was stolen from a backcountry sking parking lot outside of Squamish. This is a very unique 99 sporting many upgrades. Easily recognized with a roll cage and a grey 900 driver's side door in contrast to the yellow body. Front mount intercooler and bumper mounted front air damn. Was in the process of restoring the body. If anybody sees this car in Van. area/Western Canada please call the RCMP. Photos of the car are available at the web link below.

The car was found recently. Greg found it at a tow yard. It had been lit on fire and pushed off a hill.

Wow, that's sad. Can it be saved, or is it too far gone?

I can't imagine how terribly I'd deal with something like that. Sad story, indeed.

I hate people.... seriously, what posesses people to do this type of shit?

That car looks truly badass from the pictures.... Did he have it shipped over here from Europe? I love the euro front end too.... I wish America got 99's and 96's in the 80's :-/

Looks like he had some pretty nice motor work done to it lol

you can get a 99 untill 1980 in the US. the best part about that year is that they have a plastic gas tank insted of metal which really sucks that who ever stole it had to destroy it.
