Fuel Guage Calibration Via Tech II

Has anyone had there fuel gauge calibrated on here ? My girls 9-5 is calibrated to have an empty tank right above the reserve red line..(found this out by her running out of gas on the highway one morning) Last night I filled up with 93 and the gauge will show it having an empty tank. My guess is the needle would be off the charts and just defaults to the empty setting.? As the car gets driven I will see if it kicks in when its in proper gauge area..

Anyone else ever experience this....Mikey D when you get back in the area I will need you to calibrate this for me.

Never cal'd one, but all the inaccurate gauges I've run across have been from faulty/misadjusted senders. A 9-3 float in a 9-5 application will run you out of gas at right about the gauge level where you're having problems

hmm I'll take a look and see if this has been done... I have stacks of paperwork on the car and didn't see any fuel pump replacement.

I have the whole pump assembly from the 1999 9-5 if you need it for diagnosis or you want to buy it or whatever.
