I always forget to take more pics once I get into a rhythm working.

Next is new rotors, akebono pads and fresh fluid, radiator and coolant bypass hoses, all new wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends and poly control arm bushings along with all new bushings for the rear ( poly where possible) and adjustable cross bars back there. Also have new blower motor, cabin filter and fan speed controller. Will be ordering up an alternator as preventative. Also need to drop exhaust manifold To fix a broken stud ( will be installing all new ones )

It's amazing the difference that doing bushings and mounts in these cars makes. Well worth the labor in my opinion. Super jealous of your SAS bars.

That subframe cleaned up so well

Hopefully you have all your oil leaks sorted out. When I swapped in my cleaned up rust free one, I hadnt, and it ended up getting disgusting again in a couple hundred miles

Did the alternator as preventative maintenance

The ac leaked so I pressurized the system and found 2 leaks. The line going from compressor to drier and the line going from the compressor to the txv. One like is nla new so will be going used through goldwing

Have a new compressor to install so I’ll knock the lines out at the same time

Did you do the alternator from above or below? I've been lucky and have only had to do one, which I did from the top, which wasn't so bad once I ground down the casting on the intake manifold. It was hard to believe that little lip could make a difference, but it did.

From the top, I donít see dropping it from the bottom unless you drop the exhaust. My old 03 I grinded down the lip, this wagon I didnít grind the lip down. I was able to finagle it out the top

Not a fun job regardless but I can knock it out in 1.5 hours now
