2006-2009 Saab 9-5 Models

What are the differences between the last "old body" 9-5's?

Is the 2.3t version identical in terms of engine, turbo and suspension?

Is the Aero version basically a different interior trim package? Or are there a major difference in terms of any running gear?

I am looking for an 2006- 09 aero,
But I saw many 2.3t models that looked identical to me. Also is the general quality of the last 9-5 not so good compared to the 2005 9-5's??

If someone could point me to a link
Or could generally share some facts that would be great!

06 there was no Aero model in name only, you had the sport suspension which brought the better seats and aluminum trim with it. '07-09, they called that Aero again. '08-09 The seats at least of the Aero became standard.

The engine has the improved turbo inlet pipe known as the King Cobra worth a bit extra power, otherwise the engines are the same.

The 06-09 had slight suspension changes and wider wheels and tires.

They dont seem to dog leg rust like the 99-05 cars do.

They are really well built, in my eyes they are the best Saabs that can be had cheap these days. Some complain some areas of the interior are cheaper than the 99-05 cars like the back plastic shift surrounds and the plastic inner door handles. But instead you got the contrast stitching, two tone seating and nicer fake wood. They drive nicer and are very solid. So It's a wash with my feeling that you get more with the last cars.
