You were at SOC and we did not meet? I like to try and meet the peeps from the forums... it proves they actually exist, haha. Look for me at SCD in my 85.

I'm bringing the 5 DOOR VIGGEN body kit to sell if anyone becomes interested.

ALSO

A good working Viggen transmission too if anyone wants.

IF there is anyone who needs smaller bits off the car, you come by after(during/whenever) the show to get some things. I live less then 10 minutes away. Perfect excuse to save on shipping.

Hoping to have the motivation after work tonight to get a quick coat of wax onto the 85... we'll see how it goes.

The weather for tomorrow looks like it's gonna be perfect!

To hell with wax. Quick detailer is just the thing for after work, beer in one hand type of car show prep!

Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Just a reminder, caravan from Market Basket in Hooksett, NH for those coming from the North (NH, VT) LEAVES at 8am. Be there early if you wanna chit chat in the parking lot.

I'll have a few in a bit. Got there kinda late and didn't snap as many as I usually do though.

I only take pictures of my own car, and not very good ones...

But here's a few others that found their way onto my camera.

I got lucky with an end spot in the shade, so there was a good crowd around my 85 for the most part.

Pascal's Hillclimb car. For those interested, the "Climb to the Clouds" will be back next year. I know I can't wait. I guess Pascal was away in WI co-driving (I think?) with Team O'Neil.

I didn't hear the full story on this one, something about diplomatic import? Not sure how he gets away driving it with the foreign tags? iirc it's a 91? 900SE 5 door, right hand drive. Pretty fricken cool.

w00t!?!?! rear wiper

Glen's 88

Brian's Airflow. Thanks Brian for leading the caravan down (a bit faster than I would have driven down on my own, haha)

A really well done MCY 91 SE/Airflow. He was at SOC as well, said he finished it a week before that show (so 2 weeks ago)

Somehow I wound up parking next to a bunch of school teachers?

This guy's bike needed a jump. He was afraid to hill start it or something. SAABEH was going to offer to blow start it for him.

Best tail of all the 9-5 wagon generations

The Larz Anderson Museum always makes such a great backdrop for photos.

9-5 Aero wagon might just be the best car they ever built though...

Yes, General Motors did a pretty nice job on those.

Glen, you're much nicer in person

I know you probably don't keep up well on the 9-5 stuff, but, 00-03 were pretty awesome and there was very little GM involvement in the 9-5 (unless you're one of the sorry fools that bought a V6). In 04 GM started cheapening the interior and removing things.

Have you ever owned a 9-5? I own both a c900 (my 3rd) and a 9-5, and think I have a bit of a leg to stand on. I love my c900, it is truly as iconic as a car can be IMO. BUT, my 03 Aero wagon stick is an absolutely incredible car! I told you at SOC, if the drive were any further, I would have taken my Aero instead of the 85... there are LOTS of reasons for this.

really?

https://www.saablink.net/forum/genera...tion/69986.htm

I came and went. Wasn't terribly impressed. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting to see, but the cars inside the museum were neat to look at. Walking by the handful of T5 c900 got me thinking.."I remember when my spg was the only one here at scd running t5" sigh...
