new england dragway trip

its seems like a few people here go to NE Dragway, anyone set up a meet and roll in with a bunch of saabs?

are import days, I have never been and would like to go, I'd actaully like to maybe find a day if we can all get together and get a few hours on a track, that way we could all do adaptation runs and really take em out and unleash them without the worry of tickets, do they have any sort or track other than a dragstrip.

no idea I was hoping someone that had been before would know I think its pretty cheap to run the car like 30 or 40 but no idea how much it would cost to rent some track time

I'd be in as long as I have nothing else going on those days. I'd have to check again when we get closer.

turborush, you should probably let them know that the 17 dollars to run means you can run as many times as you want, no limit, but the more people, the less runs you get because of time.

i go there all the time, i was there last friday, it was not busy at all, they had that 280z with the ferrari body on it that does wheelies all night there, i see him once and a while, they had a bone stock twin turbo supra there racing against a turbo civic all night, a snowmobile racing motorcycles, and a few others, oh, and two cts-v's running against each other all night, kinda cool

and that 10 dollars to watch, that's negotiable, my friends and i put people in our trunks so we don't have to pay as much, lol, best we've done is getting 7 people in for only 20 bucks!

17 is silly cheap, maybe were better off picking a slow day and get like 10 - 12 of us and setup a little bracket to race, that would be a well spent 17$

they are extremely strict with rules dude

two cars at a time, only, and it's just a 1/4 mile, or 1/8 mile if you really want to look cool.

no burnouts anywhere on their property but the staging lines, and a bunch of other stuff.

Its kind of tough to pick when a night may be slow... unless its super hot, thats usually when it will be slow but also not good situation for fastest times.

If I had to guess I'd say October would be slower than August.

october is busier, not as many people are working, and all the little 16 year olds are back in school, so headed down for a night is easier than getting a night off from work, also it is cooler in oct. than aug. so more people will be there
i've been there so many times it isn't funny, and i can say that the best times to go are, either super hot nights (but bad for run times) or nights after a long time of rain, like if it rains all week, and friday is clear, then people will do other things than go to the track. wednesday is typically less crowded than friday
