So, I placed an order about two weeks ago, I finally got an email yesterday saying that it was backordered (everything in the order, even though it wasn't noted as such on the site). Super fantastic.

I remember those days... and I remember being able to place a massive order before 3pm on a Friday and getting free shipping with parts arriving at my doorstep the next morning on Saturday. Never any issues or backordered parts until Todd passed. Now, everytime I order, there is some sort of a hiccup and often receive 3 different shipments for one order.

I have been fairly understanding though, given the limited availability of oem parts and with Scan-Tech going under... it's not the same times as it used to be. Pricing and backordered items have definitely increased substantially.

I have actually started buying parts overseas and off of rockauto to save money.

That having been said, my next beater car will likely be an eg civic or dc integra... After 16+ Saabs and no other make under my belt, I am just about at wit's end. I need something reliable and cheap and easy to fix. c900's used to be my go to car for that, but rust has killed the vast majority of them around these parts.

Just figured I've give some feedback... Ordered some brake parts for my 85 tues evening. Checked up yesterday, still said pending... back in the good old days if I ordered by 6pm, my parts would show up next day (I'm in NH). So I called, making sure my order went through and there wasn't a problem with my CC or anything. I was told it was shipped, but their system doesn't update until 7pm or so. Fair enough. Parts showed up today (Thursday). So... less than 48 hours, I can't complain about that. I even threw in 2 o-rings and some lexol shit to bump me over the $100 and get free shipping, which was huge especially considering without they wanted to tag me for "overweight items". I didn't think brake rotors were THAT heavy. Anyhow, good transaction, but definitely not quite what it once was.

I've had a few items end up on back-order for awhile, but mostly because the parts were a bit odd. I've had nothing but good experiences buying from these folks for the past several years, and would recommend them to anyone. If you have an issue with your order a quick phone call can clear up most problems, and you get to talk to a real person. A+.

I've always received at least the majority of my order the next day after ordering. If something was back-ordered or was marked as 2-day delay, it always came in a separate shipment. I placed a big order on Wednesday morning of stuff I need for my engine rebuild. Some of the items were listed as 2-day. I still haven't gotten any of it. I wonder if they are just sending out single shipments now once all the order can be filled. Makes good business sense, but I can't help but feel a little uneasy when I don't get my parts the next day like I have in the past.

not happy, two weeks have passed and I still haven't received my order. I cancelled it and was told it'd take a minimum of 4 days to see a refund. still no refund, still not happy. I will no longer be using eeuro for any of my parts needs.

New eEuro can suck it. Maybe think about spending all that new advertising money on better prices, shipping, stock, and service like how it used to be.

Oh, and stop spamming my email box with "special deal" advertisements that used to be standard pricing.
Oh, and your new website sucks too.
Oh, and you can't take a non-refundable pre-payment on something and then not ship anything ever and also not return my money, as company policy. That's called stealing.

New eEuro can suck it.

its funny that people keep bitching about eeuro and continue to order parts. People bitched about the $99 for free shipping so they went back down to $30 with free shipping...but it now takes 5 days instead of 1 day for local customers. 90% of the country still gets it at the same time. just got off the phone with them and this was explained to me.

Well... I'm done too. This is asinine. I ordered parts last Saturday morning, June 30th. I know it was a Saturday, so didn't expect immediate action, although eEuro has been doing lots of advertising about their "saturday hours". My order was $30, so just over the minimum for free shipping, I figured I'd give it a shot. I was really hoping to have this stuff yesterday, Tuesday July 3rd, but that was just a hope, it's not really anything time critical. Back in the day though, anything ordered by 5pm on a business day, would show up the next afternoon here in NH.

So I just check the tracking for the "FedEx smart post" and see my package is expected to show up Friday the 6th. I know it's a holiday week, so that throws things off by a day, but still... 4 full business days to get my parts? I was thinking 2, maybe 3 days at most. But this is just ridiculous.

This was officially my last order I will be placing with eEuro.

I think 99$ free shipping is fine.

If your SAAB doesn't need parts in 100$ increments, you aren't fixing enough.

What the hell is the deal with this "smart post"? It used to take less than 24 hours for FedEx to get parts from CT to NH. Now it takes them 3 full business days just to get the stuff to my local post office?! This is such a joke. While I love the idea of trying to give the USPS some more work, I can't believe any business would actually ship using this method. If so, their should be a huge disclaimer upon checkout saying that this is how your parts will be shipped and how goddamn slow it is...

"you wanted free, you got free!"

Although I do agree with you, I'm pretty sure that they've switched to Fedex's version of parcel post.... which appears to be parcel post.

Do we know who it was that purchased eeuro?
Just start buying from FCP. they're in CT as well, and have a pretty good selection.
(unless that's who purchased eeuro)

I need a head gasket set for my '89 900, eEuro say they have an Elring one in stock for $75 that will ship in 1-2 business days. The price is tempting but I just don't trust them with all of the recent issues of orders being screwed up/delayed, went with the Saab Site instead, got a Victor Reinz set for $72.50 shipped.
