What color should I paint my wheel on my viggen?

I got a 2000 black viggen, with stock rims, I am looking to repair some curb rash. I do not like the way murdered out looks, and I want something that isnt just stupid looking either. IE something a 16 year old would think is "rad...or yolo...or what ever it is now."
I am thinking of shiny-darker-tone of color. I did also look into a gun metal with gloss, but that tone is too dark. Does anyone have pics or know what gun metal would look like with a healthy dose of silver fleck, or have any other color ideas that would look nice on a black car? Maybe a deep silver perhaps?
Oh I am limited to a brand I was thinking only plasti-dip because these rims are hard to find in the U.S. and I don't want anything I do to be permanent. Also don't be shy if you think I'm looking at this the wrong way, if you guys got a color that you think compliments black well, let me know! I respect everyone's opinion.

I really like how the stock wheel color looks on the Viggens, I wouldn't go much darker.

whatever you do; be careful with black wheels!

on most accounts...

black wheels seem to work on high dollar cars and I really don't understand why..

As for white yes there are a handful of cars where it compliments nicely(i think it had something to do with the pin striping on the car it-self) but im not sure on the viggen, when you do it post some pics!

also for the above post, as for everspoke a different color its called chameleon paint :P

and I do agree with you on the silver being the best to compliment black, I was just hoping there was something closer to shade i wanted

I think I may settle though with a gunmetal/lightgear color with either pearlizing top coat or silver fleck metalic coating

Keep it stock.

So many people paint wheels black, and they tend to find themselves on otherwise poorly modified cars. Avoid.

Or, orange.

Seriously though, if you have photoshop you can select the wheels and change the color to anything you want to see how it would look.

Try whatever dip color you like, it peels off if you don't like it.
