Help with installing CD player

hey there i have an 01 9-3SE and i am having troble installing my pioneer cd player. i have searched all over on the forums about the 3 plugs, they pink, gray and tan. From what i've read the pink is not used the tan connector is for the speakers and the gray is for the power etc.. I have the VW wire adapter and my problem is which wires are for what on the gray connector. Nothing online seems to match what i have. below is a drawing i did of the plugs, can someone tell me what wire is for what? Also i read that there is more than one fuse for the radio? is that true if so where are they, beside the side of the dash in the fuse panel?

You're never going to match Saab's wire colors, since they're proprietary to each car manufacturer. Google "Richard Bevan Saab" and take a look at the pin-out diagrams he has on his Saab Audio Guide. Your VW adapter, since it's aftermarket, should have industry standard color-coded wires that you can match up with your radio. The main pins on your VW adapter should match the factory wiring with a couple of exceptions. VW connectors often have a loop that connects the antenna trigger to another pin. The other pin is one of the bus wires on our cars, so you'll need to snip the loop if you have one. The ignition and constant power wires are also swapped most of the time. Other than that, ground, illumination, and the antenna trigger should all be the same.

The speaker connector is completely standard, so match up the wire colors on your VW adapter to your radio, and it will be fine.
