Fog light questions
I checked my fog lights on Saturday since they have never worked since I got the car 6 months ago. Both bulbs were shot so I'm debating on just installing 2 new bulbs or buying some new aftermarket fog lights. I saw these HID fog light upgrades (http://www.brightheadlights-hid.com/...ghts-x1010.htm) and they sound very interesting. Do any of you have experience with these? Would they be too bright in the eyes of on coming traffic? Any information you all have in regards installing aftermarket fog lights is much appreciated. Thanks.

Here's the latest update. I received the Xenarc lights last week and installed them this weekend. I'll take pictures tomorrow in the morrning and again tomorrow night once I have them aligned.

I kept the stock fogs on my viggen and loved them, I dont see a need to upgrade and I was crusing at HIGH speeds all the time at night so I would say that but yeah let us know how they are.

I trimmed the fog light opening so it'd be wider for the new fog lights. I also had to cut my old fog lights so I could use the old mounting brackets and use the old top portion to screw the new bracket onto. As you will see in the pictures there are 2 screws next to each light in the bumper where I screwed the ballasts into since those were the only good spot.

I'll take night shots tonight once I get them aligned. I bought the Xenarc X1010 kit off the sylvania website which is $299.99 plus shipping. It literally was a Weekend Project so be warned. It was a Pain In the A** but it'll be well worth it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Now what happens when you crack the foglight lens like what happens on most NG900s...Will you have to remount the stock brackets on a new set etc....Phew lot of work...

As far a replacing, all I'd have to do is unscrew the two screws that hold the light to the bracket so replacement would be pretty easy. I'm definitely gonna look into a pair of protectors.

I drove with them for the first time at night tonight and it's incredible what a difference the Xenarcs make. I have great night vision now and when I get e-code headlights with silverstars or x-tra visions it'll only get better. If you are having problems seeing at night I HIGHLY recommend Xenarcs.

Yeah I know, shame on me. :P I'd be happy to explain the process if you're interested in doing it.
