NG900 with SPG panels

Alright super-sleuths. Some of us got a lil' excited on the flash chat last night, so this is a call to arms. Lets find this!

Yes, It exists. I have seen pictures on the web a few years ago as well as an explanation that it was an a special NG900 Model created for the Italian market. The photo I saw was of a Citrin Beige Coupe with the Dark Gray SPG Lower body cladding a la SPGs. It was just unbelievable, looked right, not forced.

I'm fairly certain it had been on a UK SAAB board but I have no luck there. Maybe someone with a SC account could ask. TSN didn't know when I asked a few months ago. I've been looking for a few weeks now and wanted to see if anyone could help. Don't suppose we have any Italian SAABers, but maybe SC.

edit: I tried Autotrader for italy and there were none, but interestingly nearly every NG in italy was a coupe and came with Super Aeros like a talladega

Ha! Just as I thought, he is going to keep them all to himself, people!

Every one of us NG and 9-3 owners without a Viggen, Viggen-kit, or a catalouge kit are counting on you, does that help?

Maybe you could just post at SC and ask if someone else has them?

both the one with the SPG looking stuff on it, and the "R"(icer) 900 are custom one-off stuff, not stuff that was actually produced in Sweden by SAAB.

The 900R was a specially equipped model by a German tuner (Weinmann Motorsport or something similar).
It is based on a normal 2.0 Turbo 185hp NG900. All of the R-models are coupés and black and I remember reading that the black paint would be some special one as well, this I'm not 100% sure of.
Other special equipment the car had was:

-MY 1996 only
-17" alloy wheels with 245(!)/35-17 tires (the ones pictured above)
-Lowering springs (not sure about the shocks)
-Sports exhaust (not sure but it might only be the rear muffler)
-Talladega frontlip
-Black leather Recaro sports interior
-Alloy pedals
-Carbon dashboard

So the car is not straight out from the factory, it has been equipped afterwards.

More info and some more pictures: http://www.saab.as-it-systeme.de/MainFrameset.htm

Cheers
So its got: fat tires, better suspension and exhaust, and recaro leather seats...nice. Even with the carbon dash and alloy pedals, I'd say that car is far from: "R"(icer) 900

I know I just hate it when cars have an 'R' on them....R=ricer about 85% of the time. Plus, "R900" just kinda sounds wrong.

all this talk of body kits that i've been unable to find after years of searching is making me extremely upset that my car is still in the body shop after 3 weeks. i'm about to start buying fiberglass and make my own kit at this point...
