Rear subwoofer speakers no longer work after a jump start, help?

Hey there, been a year or two since I posted. Anyways, doing some work on a friends saab and I'm having trouble digging up references - lot's of dead end links on searched threads.

After a recent jump start - assuming it was related - the rear panel subwoofers seemed to have quit working. Is there a method of diagnosing the failure of these two, or any recommended quick fixes you guys may have gone through? According to the local saab shop (which is a hoax sometimes) they said there is "15 something" speakers and 3 amplifiers one of which being in the door panel "where the problem lies" and they wouldn't take it apart.

Anyone have some suggestions on approach?

Thanks!!!

More details on the car would help. From 2003 to 2006 the 9-3 used a fiber optic audio system. In the US they offered the 7 speaker system or 13 speaker system. Both have an amp under the driver's seat but the 13 speaker system has an additional amp in the trunk which drives the rear 6x9's.

Saabs don't like being jumped and if you didn't turn off the radio beforehand that may have done it. Check any fuse that has to do with the audio system. Refer to the owner's manual.

If the car is 2007 or newer then I have no clue lol.
