Not tremendously much...

Them's bendy! And heavy...

The one-piece RKs are a couple pounds lighter per wheel, IIRC....

I saw a set go for around $1000 exactly how you described.

They are a popular wheel though. Reconditioned they go for around $300-$350 a wheel.

They are also the only factory saab wheel to be 17x8.

Are they weak like the vig rims? I am in talks with a guy who'll sell for around 700, but I dont know if that includes shipping or not.

They're not that bad...seriously. Just make sure you know whether they're the one-piece or the two-piece wheels.

the one piece ones weigh 17lbs theses are the ones I have
the two piece ones are 24lbs.

I find mine to be pretty stong, I have hit some nasty shit, and no bends. knocks on wood.

But I also try to avoid what I can

Would you say buying them for 610 plus shipping is a good deal? They come with the tires at 70 pecent firestones or michelins and balenced all ready on. No bends

they are very nice wheels IF they are in good condition. they are fairly strong and look sweet on any saab. the only problem with the 2 piece rKII's is the clearcoat on the polished outer lip. the clearcoat does not like to stay on and when it starts to fall off, the rims look crappy. if the clearcoat is ok, i would say 610+shipping is a good deal if the tires are a decent model and treadwear is low.

Does shipping rims with the air deflated and weights off make much of a weight difference for cost?

Air doesn't weigh anything, and wheel weights are usually between .50 -2 Oz.s per wheel.

How can air not weigh anything? What's heavier, an uninflated balloon or an inflated one?
