Aux Input questions

Every time I turn my car on, the radio defaults to FM.
I just got an XM unit, though, and it used the Aux input.

Is there a way for Tech II to change the default input to Aux?

It would be kind of annoying to have to change sources everytime I turn on the car.

weird. my car defaults to whatever it was last tuned to. so if its aux, or CD, or XM, or FM. do the older Sport Sedans with the SAAB radio not do this? i know mine has a GM radio that is the exact same unit thats in a family members Malibu.

I wish mine did that.

They say Saabs are born from jets. I think what they mean is "Like jets, Saabs have a lengthy startup procedure where you must depress the clutch, turn the key, start the engine, cancel the current SID notifications (Onstar Failure, low washer fluid), change the audio source to CD, wait 2 sec, change the audio source to Aux. Now you can put the car in gear and go somewhere."

OnStar Failure? cant you just tell it to stop checking with a tech II?

and now i understand your Aux-In problem. this is a very early aux in using the cd changer right?

If I had a tech II? Probably.
Yeah, the aux plugs into the back of the 6-disk. Needs to be activated with Tech II. Would be awesome if it was the default input when I started my car.
