Plasti Dip

Anybody on here experimented with using plastidip on the front chrome grill pieces? I have a black 03 9-3 and was thinking about blacking out everything but the chrome saab line in the middle of the grill or just the entire grill.

Any pics or input is help, also wondering if there is a way to get these chrome trim pieces off without taking off the entire front bumper?

I just did mine. No pics yet but a very good product to work with and you can peal it off later if you want to go back to stock.
For me, I cut the center wing out and love how it turned out.

It's definitely easy to do without taking off the bumper. Somewhere there are pictures of where exactly the clips are.

that - or just take a pair of snips, and cut them. Pull them off from there.

EDIT -Never mind, i misread and though you were talking about the older style strips.
