08 9-3 Tail lights on a 07 9-3?

Does anyone know if the clear tail lights with the black trim off of the 08 9-3 will fit on the 07 9-3? I was at my local dealership today and the parts guy was no help...all he told me was that there is a small difference between the two but he didnt know what it was. To me they look like they would match up perfectly. I appreciate any help on this matter.

If I was going any direction, it would be putting the 07 lights on the 08.

08 lights are dreadful, IMO.

Yeah, my friend also wants to do this on his parchment silver(?) 07SS.

I don't think that eeuro offers 2008 parts yet. Are you guys just buying them from a dealer?

I'm also a fan of the iceblock tail lights on the 08's. Was looking at an 06 Aero in that kinda purple-ish gray, was thinking the iceblocks would look tasty on there.

Call Todd with a part number anyway. He sells stuff that is not on the site, but you need the part number. Worth a try.

Someone up here has done this to a pepper green '03ish 9-3 sedan, looks alright.

For some reason my parts department has 8 pairs of European Code tail lights for the '08 9-3s in our wharehouse. Unfortunately our parts department manager is a pain in the ass when it comes to bending the rules so he refuses to sell them.

ditto. I'd trade - Looking for the iceblock look without the iceblock cost. Are they really $300+ a piece??!! If so, those 08's are looking like a good deal!

I'm not sure I'd make the change on my car. I haven't grown to like the looks of them yet.

I would like them if the black outlining was not so thick. With that in mind I would probably only do the switch onto a black SS.

that looks so damn nice. just wish thsoe tail lights would work on the 9-5. nows the time where an aftermarket company sees this and makes a similar set for the 9-5.
