Custom Dash

Not 100% sure on it yet but looks nicer than the peeling factory. I dropped it by the body shop last night. They were painting a customers SS just happened to be the same color. I might do the rest of the silver interior panels. I am not 100% on the gloss clear but will live with it for a while to see. 15min swap is the best part.

I need some more pics when it is not next to a red truck too.

I would do the trim over the glovebox like on the new cars.

I like it.

Yeah the trim above the glove box will look good. Maybe if it were color matched to the audio steering wheel control panel, as well as the plate around the shifter.

They actually sell that, its on the Saab catalog site. Nick can get that anytime he wants

Not bad, although I think it sticks out too much with the rest of the dash/trim that grey color.

A bit, I think more of it like around the passenger vent and a few other places will make it look good.

reminds me of the new interior because it has the silver trim around the main dash piece.

It's rare that I actually look at something and go WOW with big eyes, and this was it! That looks nice! That is the whole dash pops with the silver.

I like it a lot. Easy pieces to take off?
Hmm... This may have to turn into a DIY

According to my paint guy it was a pain. The old rubber coating and primer have to come off completely. Then back with primer, metal flake, then clear.

Install is a little tricky first time but very easy. The vents are held in by clips, you need 3 small screwdrivers or pics. Then a bunch of T25 screws. 7 or 8 can't remember exactly.

looks nice. but, how bad does it reflect onto the windshield? in the updated interiors, the little metal strip reflects on the windshield...kinda annoying.

It is not much more reflective than the stock Viggen dash or any of the older wood dashes. Might do the next car with satin clear. Around the gauges is the only place I notice. But not bad at all.
