Pic request, lowering springs?

Ok so, I recently slapped my 17's and new tires on my spg and love the way they look. However, i don't like the 4x4 lift kit look it has up front. Now, I've been leaning towards b&g springs for the spg but I'd love to see what other springs are out there. What I'm asking for is a little pic whoring of your lowered c900 with a little info on the setup. I just want to get a better idea what the stance will be with each set of springs available to us. Pic whoring begin.

I had pics of my SPG with intrax & 18's.... & later 18's & Brad' adjustable springs but I can't find the intrax pics. No experience with B&G so I can't compare. Intrax were to soft for track use which is why I upgraded, excellent springs for the street.

Definantly with you.... these cars look so much better with non OEM saab wheels.... aero & super aero is like driving a honda

Abbott Racing Springs
Koni Adjustable Shocks

Still would not mind taking a half coil off the front, seeing it scrapes everything already that might be tough.

G-Max from Elkparts on the SE 'Vert -- and that's with a 45% profile on the tire, so it still has a bit of a gap:

The Commem also has 45% profiles, but are running on custom adjustible spring/spring mounts from Brad of KC Saab with Koni adjustibles so I've managed to get it a LOT lower:

Jim that commem has an amazing stance. Also, how does the vert handle?

Hidspg, i agree the front is still a little higher than the rear, which is what I'm sort of trying to avoid. Thanks for the pics hope to see some more.

Both handle very tight. Commem is a bit more of a canyon carver, no doubt, but the Vert does very well, too. I've done nothing with swaybars on either, although I still have my SAS kit from the SPG I had years ago that I'll put on the Vert probably.

I went in a slightly different direction to solve this problem on my 88. Went with 500lb rear springs and only cut half a ring off the front. It leveled out pretty good

Not sure if Brad will make them any more, you can always call him and ask. If I recall they were $600 ish for the set a few years ago...... Definantly the way to go if he will make them for you.

Heh. Love to get that Sonett, but can't bear to give up the Commem. Still kicking myself over the Tally. I won't do a seller's remorse thing again for a while...

Iron Joe, why back to the intrax as opposed to the adjustables? Just wondering. -Justin

I honestly wasn't thrilled with the ride of the adjustables. They seemed a bit too "crashy" for my liking. They didn't ride well for me, the car seemed unhappy over every bump. I went back to the intrax, trimmed them some more, and added koni adjustables and am quite happy.

If you're doing lowering springs make sure to do shocks as well.

Well, the original plan was to go with b&g springs and koni adjustables, but my friend and I were looking at options for his wrx and spent countless hours looking at different springs for it. His main issue with most was equal drop front and rear, leaving the front sitting a bit higher. We found a setup for his car that drops the front more and levels the car out nicely. This made me start thinking that my spg needs more drop in the front and less in the rear too. The problem with this as we all know to well is that a c900 doesn't have the options available to it that the wrx does.

Pellingt, are you satisfied with the b&g springs + koni combo?
