Where in the f do I find cool 4-108 wheels?

Where in the f do I find them?

Am I going to have to run Focus wheels? DAMN!

I like the Aero wheels and all, but I want to find something different.

Ronal made quite a few, then Ronal USA kind of went tits up.

You could probably get away with 4x110 if you can find some floating seat (wobble) bolts.

Rota also makes quite a few wheels in 4x108. And yes, you can look for 4x4.25" wheels as well, but the offset and center bore on Focus wheels would require the use of a spacer. The center bore you need is 65.0 or 65.1

The Merkur XR4Ti, Fox body Mustang and first generation Escort/EXP also run 4x108.

The basketweaves from an XR4 would look hot on a C900, methinks.

Yeah, I was looking through wheels that fit the Focus. They all look too modern.

I am looking at adapter options as well.

Good luck with your search. I had a heck of a time trying to find an aftermarket wheel that I liked. Had to settle for the Aero wheels instead.

Although I do like the wheels, there just a bit to common. JMO.

However, I would love to have a set of 18" Aeros. That would be the bomb. Thought about seeing if I could have a set custom made...

I found a place that might tackle 4 to 5 lug adapters. If that happens I have a couple wheels I am looking at.

Yeah, they can be done, but there are plenty of 4x patterns that have tons of available wheels. I've never been a fan of how a 4x to 5x conversion looks, as far as the new holes being very close to (or overlapping) the old.

Now, from what I have seen, if you go up to something like 4x108 to 5x130 (porsche PCD) then there is no overlap on any holes. Plus I think porsche wheels would look great :P

NOT cool.

I think I have located someone willing to tackle making some adapters. Now I am looking at a few different rims.

I'd prefer something that would bolt right up, but I'll adapt if I have too.

You could try 1010 wheels think their link is http://www.1010tires.com/

You should be able to do a search by Bolt pattern. You will have to send an email to check the Center bore though.

I can fix center bore issues.

1010 tires got me the most results, but I just don't think any of those wheels would look good on the c900. This car needs a classic looking wheel.

Do you mean like a Fondmetal 5700?

Thats what I wanted for my C900 unfortunatly they stopped making the rim.

The only other place I know of that does bolt pattern searches is Buy Wheels Today. Here is their link http://www.buywheelstoday.com/

If you find a good place let me know I would to look at some.

I agree most of those look like ass.

They make (edit: used to make) a 16" 1 piece BBS RS that is looks good on a c900, I am also a fan of fat 5 spoke wheel like a Borbet Type A, also can be found in 4x108 16" that will look great on a c900.

Yeah I contacted the Fondmetal Rep and he said they stopped making the rim.

Here is a copy of the email.

Hello Tim,
the 5700 is no longer in production, and we do not have the application that you mentioned in 5700 wheel. What car would you like to fit with? We have several wheels in 4/114.3. Please specify also the country where you live, so that I will put you in connection with our importer, thanks.
