Central Penn SAAB Club's
Covered Bridge Tour.
We will begin at 10AM at Kelly Cadillac/SAAB, 1986 State Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. The dealership is located on the north side of Route 283, at the State Road/ Route 722 Exit. Our friends at Kelly Cadillac SAAB will be providing Coffee and Donuts before we set out for the drive.
The tour is structured as a Gimmick Rally: There will be questions to be answered along the way. Answer sheets will be turned in at the end of the drive, and the winner will receive a gift card.
THIS IS NOT a Time/Speed/Distance rally, so enjoy the drive and the countryside. Speeding and/or wreckless driving will not be tolerated.
We strongly encourage having both a driver AND a navigator, because driving directions are being provided and cars will leave at varying times during the morning, with the first cars to leave immediately after the short driver's meeting.
For anyone not having a navigator, we can pair you up with a lead car. We may also have some club members who will serve as navigators for anyone needing them.
We will also have a SAAB Trivia Challenge, once everyone returns, with another gift card prize going to the winner.
By mid-afternoon, we will take a short drive to have a late lunch-early dinner, with a location to be determined depending on how many want to go.
Please RSVP in advance, letting us know if you are bringing a navigator, and if you want to join us for the late lunch. Advance notice is strongly encouraged so we have enough maps and directions pre-printed before the event.
This event will only be cancelled in the event of a blizzard or state of emergency. It will otherwise go on as planned.
Any questions, send them my way. Yes, Non-SAABs are also welcome to participate.
Hope to see you there.
