alright this is getting old....long

ok so im still having my issue with my car cutting out (shutting off...stalling...whatever you want to call it) at around 5500 or up rpm

it only happends when in 2nd gear after a hard pull from first...under WOT at stated RPM it starts leaning out and then shuts right off...

things i have done trying to chase this issue down
1) fuel filter
2)walbro 255 (thought maby stock pump was getting weak, might as well upgrade while in there)
3) new used injectors...ran fine in friends stage 4 SQR car
4) FPR brand new
5) checked for boost/vac leaks...once at 25psi and also used a smoke machine for vac leaks

now about the car
97 9000 cse..full 98 cse drive train, td04, 3inch turbo back....large FMIC, JZW stage 3+ tune

No check engine lights now as i did have one for the front 02 short to b+ so i replaced the sensor but did not fix it, so instead of chasing wires i just replaced the engine harness...400+ miles with out CEL

history:
car was tuned when i was living in wyoming 7200ft elevation
came home to maine (sea level) car ran fine, perfect a/f all the way up to rev limit in every gear (12.5 a/f)
this was at the start of the summer in june
at the tail end of the summer mid september when outside temp started to drop the car started to have this issue

could it be that my turbo and IC setup is just out flowing my fuel system? i know that my car is at the limits for the turbo but with cold out side temps could the boost just be demanding to much fuel

some one please help this is really getting old

Id hook up a fuel pressure gauge and see what that does when you hit the stumble

Injectors going past 100% duty cycle in denser, colder air? Id stay out of WOT if your AFR is going to 14.5...youre asking to melt something...

Have you tried a new DI? When shits not quite right, always try another DI.

Good Luck,
Dave

Donno if this would apply for you, but i had some issues of a somewhat similar nature on my '91 turbo, i cleaned the contacts/grounds on my injectors and also found that my DI screws had backed out just a hair and it wasn't contacting correctly. The DI was most of the issue a that moment but it ran noticeably stronger after cleaning up the contacts.

lol, i know i know, but i got what i asked for and all was perfect untill outside temp dropped this fall past 50 degrees...

I have already lined up some bigger injectors, and will be ordering a 19t upgrade for my car in a couple months...in the mean time im not beating on it and its getting ready to go to sleep for the winter

how do those plugs look to you guys?

and lets not make this about your tuner as i literally had to fight with mine to get him to push my car this hard, literally 4 tunes to make me happy, the first 3 just did not give me what i was looking for...

my tuner advised me of the problems that could arise with pushing it as hard as i am, and i am fully aware at what could happen...

so another question from me would be...

If my car is leaning out due to the injectors being over run with the colder air available, could i run a 3.5 bar FPR and maby get them to feed a little bit more fuel in up top?
