NG With no brake lights

Hey guys my 1995 900se turbo has no brake lights.
About a week ago I had my local mechanic install a new hood release cable and latch which required him to remove the knee bolster.
While inspecting the brake light switch "what I thought to be the problem" well that looks fine.
But I did notice the cruise control switch is broken. Would this cause the brak lights not to work?
Oh I did check the fuse.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Guys

Break out a voltmeter, start at the fuse, see if you can find the relay And see if it's loose or has correct voltage. Swap another relay and see if that helps. Check grounds and see if you can read volgage at the Rear bulbs and holders.

Also see if the brake switch on the pedal got disconnected and or still good.

This...

But I'd start with the switch since the work was done in that area....

Couldn't find part number, here is a reference to brake light switch under the dash/at the petal 4233342 Genuine SAAB - Brake Light Switch - Free Shipping

Do you get any voltage at this switch or can you jump it to make the lights come on?
