Cylinder 2 misfire????
I am new here, and I hope you all may help me with an issue I am having with my 98 saab 900s convertible..
here is what is happening..
in the morning when the engine is cold..it will start and run fine..
I drive 45 miles to work on highway, then I come to the last 2 mile section of my commute that has lights and when I sit at a light, the idle is very rough and it sputters as I pull away, but once I get past 2000 rpm, it smooth's right out again.
same thing happens after work, but the 2 miles of city driving is now fist and as soon as it warms up, it gets rough and sputters, but once I am crusin down the road with over 2k on the rpms its smooth.. now the last liitle thing I have been noticing lately is, while I am cruising at 50+ if I let of the gas to coast, when I give it it gas it sputters until I bring it up around 2500rpms then back to running smooth..
I have a check engine light and the code is Cylinder 2 misfire..
Does anyone know what would cause this type of behavior??
thanks for any help you maybe able to offer...
