Question 99 9-3 OG Fuel Pump Failure

Waht up?

The fuel pump in my 99 9-3 OG just shit the bed. Is there a decent alternative to the $500+ OEM assembly? The car is at the mechanics waiting to be repaired in about a week. Thanks for the suggestions.

Put a walbro fuel pump cartridge in. About 100 bucks.

If your mechanic doesn't know how to install the pump insert into the plastic housing, run away. They'll fuck it up and your fuel gauge will never read accurately

Did one today, a walbro insert. Cost was about 85$ and took about an hour and half total.

I cut a hole under the rear seat to access it from the top.
