starter location

I have a 2002 9-3 (2.3L)

Can anyone tell me more or less where the starter motor on my 9-3 is located?

Is it on the front or backside of the engine block? Do i have to move some things out of the way?

For those interested, I'm asking because my car isn't starting at all. When I try turning it on, the engine doesn't turn at all, and all i hear are clicks.

Before it died on me, the car would crank slowly when trying to start it. That's why I think it's the starter.

Also, in the past year i've replaced the crank shaft positions sensor, di cassette, and fuel pump.

On the T5 manual trans 900s and 9-3s I kneel on top of the engine, move the plastic stuff out of the way, and just go to town from the top. Simple enough if you have a long enough breaker bar and the propper metric sockets.
