Turn Signal with 3 flashes for passing or lane changing issue

Any one else having an issue getting this to consistently work properly? Both drivers are having issues, especially with the left signal. This is my 4th vehicle with this feature (Two previous Saabs and one Volvo), and never had these issues. It either will just blink once and go off, or we'll hit it too hard and the signal will stay on. Time for a visit to the dealer????

never any issues, not as graceful as bmw's execution of it. What Saabs had this previously? just curious. Unless it was a 9-3SS (never owned one) i've never seen another Saab with it.

I've had a '99 and '03 9-5 and could swear they both had it, but perhaps I am mistaken. I've spent the past 4 yrs. with a Volvo S60 which it worked great on. Maybe it's still a bit stiff.
