clunk in reverse

when i bought my 900, the brakes had a really bad clump when i pushed the brakes while backing up. So i replaced the rotors and calipers a day later and the noise went away until a couple days later it slowly started coming back and gradually getting worse. Did i just install the rotors and calipers wrong or is there something else it could be?

That's a fairly common issue with older C900 brakes. I don't think it's necessarily unsafe.
IIRC, the clunk occurs because of movement at the sliding surface where the yoke and the caliper meet. If you installed re-manned calipers, the noise likely returned as the paint worn off in the sliders and everything settled in.
