Pedal feels hard after i cleaned the MAF??

While driving..the pedal starts to get hard I dunno why but it feels like there is some air somewhere. i dunno why this happens but it seems to be a regular thing. I took off that black hose on the top of the throttole body the other day could Air have gotten in there and is causing that hard feeling in the pedal?

Have you tried resetting the ECU

Is the black hose all the way on?

The only thing that would affect the stiffness of the gas pedal would be the throttle cable. The throttle body is pretty much completely electronic so there's no way that an air problem could cause the throttle to be stiff. The computer reads the position of the throttle cable and then the butterfly door or whatever it's called in the throttle body is moved by an electric motor.
