Airbag light warning after replacing front seats
I was fixing seats and dismantled them.
Looks like i forgot to disconnect battery doing that.
Now starting engine Airbag light flashes on, turns off and after 1 sec flashes all the time.
How to turn it off?
All connections looks properly connected.
If the only problem was that you powered the car on while the airbag connector was unplugged, then it will have to be reset with a Tech2 at a shop that can work on cars. The fault code is set in the SRS module, and the only way to re-set it after fixing a fault is with a Tech2.
If one of the seat mounted airbags is bad, the light will come back on, and there will be a code set for which airbag is faulty or disconnected.
the 1999-2002 9-3 would reset themselves after a certain amount of cycles, the ng900 needed a tech 2. Not sure which the 9-5 follow
