Head re-torque question (new bolts)

Hello all.
Recently was fighting hose failures in my 1999 9-5 2.3T (110k miles). After replacing 4 hoses and a heater core, I was still loosing coolant, so I droped some UV dye into the system to see where its coming from. Found that my cap sprays out bunch of coolant, and found a coolant leak in the front driver side corner of the head, on top of that it takes a bit too long to heat up, all signs of a failing head gasket...so before I try replacing it I wanted to do a re-torque.

So I ordered new bolts, and gonna do a re-torque. I will be following the following procedure Head Gasket Leakage
Although some suggest the following...so not sure which would be better? Any suggestions?
Retightening of cylinder head bolts - Saab 9-5 M98-M01

Except after loosening each bolt I will remove it, and then replace with a new one. (reason I am replacing mine, is I do not know if they have been re-torqued before as we got the car at 46k miles in 2003).

My questions is do I need to apply anything to the bolt? Engine Oil etc? or just put it in dry?

A little engine oil on the threads and under the bolt head.
