small oil leak

hey guys
just recently(yesterday) had the oil pressure sensor/switch replaced on my 02 9-5 aero cause it seemed like that is where my oil leak was coming from but that has not solved the issue it appears that i have oil covering the back half of the transmission case and oil pan, and oil burns and get a good amount of smoke behind and through the hood at a stop when i WOT so would like some insight as to where it is coming from....i checked behind the new sensor and it is clear of oil...

How high is the first trace of oil?

My initial feeling is the rear mail seal is the likely culprit but oil supplies for the turbo and vacuum pump are also possibilities.

So to the valve cover gasket and if a manual trans car, the plug at the back of the exhaust cam that's in lieu of the mechanical vacuum pump on the auto trans cars.

It seems to be below the valve cover and no signs of oil by the pressure switch....but think it could b the head gasket

yea just took off the DIC and notice a small pool of oil so i think it may be a valve cover gasket rather than a head gasket..but not 100% sure
