So trying to help out a friend it's a 99 95 So The blower motor is not working currently. But before the motor stopped. It was blowing cold on the driverside and hot on pass when both sides were on full heatan the heat was working on the pass side but not the drivers an did the acc codes an it said the drivers side blend door then not to long after that the heat stopes on the pass now it's just cold air all around is it the blower motor that's seized Or a fuse or the resister any thought or am I just going to have to tinker around or is this a common problem ? Thanks

I see you know about the blend door. That is a start. If you blower is not turning you will have to remove it, 04.02.2006: Saab 9-5 Blower Motor Repair - photo.platonoff.com
Once you have removed it very often it just the brushes that you can buy anywhere that sells stuff like that. Solder in new brushes and see if it powers up. Not the best job in cold weather but if it not the brushes a used blower is not too bad.
Here is the link to the brush replacement procedure.
