Window popped off it's roller

Driving to work this morning, put all the windows down, here a "pop"/"click" noise come from the drivers side window. I looked over and noticed it was tilted forward. Dang.
Quickly flipped the switch to put it back up, and it went up and sealed just fine.
I plan on taking the door panel off when I get home and seeing what kind of trouble I can get into.
Anyone have any tips/tricks/pointers I should be aware of?

You need the green plastic front window rollers, it's a 30 min job. I just did mine, they $14/ea from the dealer, or any of the Saab independents on the way home will have them in stock.

Get them from the dealer if you can, if any of the Indy's are likely to stock the shitty Scantech / PPS ones that only last a year or two. (The OE ones usually only last 3-5 depending on how often you use the windows.)

I get mine from a guy on ebay. They're PPS parts, and are like $6 shipped.

I get them in 2 days. it's ridiculous!
Pair Front Window Regulator Rollers Fits Saab 9 3 9 5 900 | eBay

Also.. it's a wicked easy job. Leave the windows up and take the panel off. There's plenty of access on the front doors. I'm sure the rears are the same. you'll need a pair of needle-nose pliers (to put the cotter pin on), a screwdriver( to pop the old pin off) and some channel locks(to press the roller onto the ball-joint) for the roller/pins. I think it's just a small torx. 25 or 27 to take the door apart. get a pair of rollers and replace both at once. some grease on the track wouldn't hurt, either.

Not a problem as mine never comes out of the CD player.

I'm getting mixed feedback on which brand of rollers to go with. I'd prefer to order them online since the only saab dealership in the area is now a cadillac dealership, and they charge too much for everything.
Would this one work:

I don't mind paying the $7, because the dude ships 'em the same day and I get them ridiculously fast. and it's happened 2x.

I ended up just going to the dealership and getting OEM ones. They were $8.50 each. But I didn't have to wait or pay shipping.
I'll be tackling the install this weekend with a buddy.

You bastard, putting your windows down on the way to work!!! Call me jealous!!!

Freaking 20 some degrees here today!!

Nothing more to add, this happens to all 9-5 owners! When mine broke, I pushed the window button and the glass just dropped! I was like "that was a little faster then normal!" Of course, it was during an ohio winter and I was 25 min from home. Had to pry it up and hold it up all the way home!

I know this is an older thread. On my 05 9-5, the rollers are brand new, but something is causing the cotter pins to work loose and cause ball joint to pop off roller. Any thoughts?

It may not be snapped on all the way. It clicks once initially when you pop it on, then you have to push about twice as hard and it clicks again.

This, I used a pair of vice grips for the second pop.
