Fault Code Help

My 2001, 9-5 has engine code P1312. I've changed spark plugs. Anything else I should check before replacing the expensive Direct Ignition Module? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome!

What plugs did you use? You can ONLY use the OEM specified NGK plugs - otherwise you will get CEL and could possibly damage your Ignition Cassette.

Did you check gap on the plugs as well?

CEL came on first. Replaced with NGK's gapped at .040". Also pulled casette connector and reseated. Any other ideas?
