Instrument panel!!!

Ok one stupid question )))
If i remove from my 9-5 2000 Instrument panel and put in panel from 2002 will turbo gauge work? on my i dont have turbo gauge and i realy wana have one)))

Its a good question. I have no idea. But my guess would be yes. I bet the wireing for all turbo cars are the same, some just don't have the same features like the boost gauge. But I'd guess it'd work.

Theres no harm in trying right?

NO!!

There is one small difference in the wiring that is critical to the operation of the car. The airbag warning system is run from the i-bus on the M02 and newer cars, not a single lead as in the M98-M01 cars.

A 2001 cluster is the newest you can get with a boost gauge that would be compatible with your 2000. The data from Trionic to drive the boost gauge is always present regardless if you have a gauge or not, so when one is plugged in, it is the responsibility of the node (instrument cluster in this case) to parse that information and relay it to you visually through the gauge.

Yeah the 02- cars wen they went to the LED lights and nicer graphics also got more info over the bus and therefore fewer wires in a different connector. I always wanted to do that in my 01 vig.
