Water in my trunk

Okay, so I'm getting water in my trunk under the false floor where my spare tire is. Its an '02 9-5 aero. Any ideas where to start checking? It hasn't been especially rainy here in Maine lately, but it did power wash the car like 4 days ago. I have a cracked tail light that I still haven't gotten fixed, but I can't imagine water could have found its way all the way to where the spare tire well is.
I just don't want to have to deal with rust in a few years.
Thanks in advance for any input.

When the lens got cracked, did the seal behind the light get broken? I've seen many leak around the tail light itself.
