My 2002 Saab 9-5 won't start. It's something I've never encountered with it. I had driven it home. Turned it off. Five minutes later I went to start it to drive it in the garage and this is what happens: When I turn the key, all the lights in the dash go on as normal, as does the "check ok" on the info display panel, but when you turn the key further there is nothing. No click, no sound attempt even to turn the starter. Nothing. Dead quiet.
I know it is not the starter because I just replaced it.
Any suggestions? Is it the ignition switch maybe? I do have power in the car. Everything works: lights, radio, etc.

I read your old post about starting issues. https://www.saablink.net/forum/car-pr...nly/116922.htm
It kind of sounds like a Crank Position Sensor.
But knowing what engine you have does help to solve problems.
Maybe your cps finally crapped out completely
