hood release latch rubbing on A/C condenser

yup, got a pinhole in my condenser, was going to replace and I noticed that right at that spot it is very worn away and the hood release latch seems to be resting and rubbing against the condenser. It probably wore through and made this hole! so the question is, can the release/latch position be adjusted or is it more likely the condenser was not mounted correctly?

The safety latch in the middle or the actual latches on the driver and passenger sides?

safety latch in the middle, the one you release to pop the hood fully open. it is rubbing the condenser. I'll try and get a photo.

well I replaced my A/C condenser and the bad one I removed was aftermarket that had been put in there by a mechanic... totally flat and not curved like OEM, which is why the hood safety latch wore a hole through it as they touched...

I put in a used OEM one from Goldwing and it has the proper curve, clears the hood latch by a good inch or two no problem. Shaking my head, it's true that if you want something done right, do it yourself.
