2001 95 trans leak and limp mode question

Anyone know if a trans leak will put the car into limp mode? I have a pretty bad transleak that I am having a really hard time locating. I'm thinking it may be the upper cooler line. But the car also keaps going into limp mode and when I first bought it I was seeing o2 sensor codes. so I replaced them but its still going into limp mode so I need to get it read again. just wondering if the trans leak could also do that?

Thanks for any help

Joe

A leak that lowers the level enough I suspect would cause this issue.

Seems most likely a separate issue. Limp is for boost, timing, airmass issues. Low coolant should just throw the low coolant warning, and probably check engine as well. I'd either get the codes checked, or start off with some new plugs.
