Died while driving was running good

01 9-5 aero my son was driving home when car suddenly died, dash went dark. Car will turn over but not start. Fuses are good cant' hear fuel pump come on. Charged battery. I'm new to the site, searched past forums didn't see anything close to this problem. I've had a DIC go out on me before but the dash display still worked. My son really enjoys this car its his 2nd saab. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

what happens when you turn the car on? no dash lights at all? I've had a Maxi fuse blow once while I was driving and it killed the car. but it was a very simple fix. but I don't remember if the car still cranked or not. I think it was just dead completely.

If its not an electrical issue it is probably the crank position sensor or fuel pump.

It was the fuse. Will never again try to diagnose the problem at night in the driveway freezing. Replaced 10 amp fuse started right up
