Post Removing Head

I have a 1999 Saab 9-5 Inline 4 turbocharged and i am looking to remove the head. Now I took the exhaust manifold bolts all off even the ones on the turbo. I took the cams off and I made the timing chain loose. Now I am stuck on the part of the intake side. How do i take it off? Or can I leave it on with the head and just unbolt it somewhere else.

I leave it attached and separate them on the bench, much easier than climbing up on top of the engine.

Make sure you don't forget to remove the timing chain tensioner.

When you start lifting the head off, you have to pivot it forward (intake manifold side needs to tip up) or you can break off the top of the slack side timing chain guide. You'll see what I mean if you look down there with a flashlight.
