9-5 starting problem DIC?

So drove the kid to school today and the cel came back on and p1312 and p1334 codes popped up. Typically DIC codes from what I've read.

I have been having cold start problems with slow crank and after a few tries it finally catches. Also helps to prime the fuel pump a few times. Once I drive for a while it seems to start ok.

I had just replaced my DIC with a used one from the local Bobs used part who has a lot of saabs. I guess his is no better than the one I had in there because the old one had the same codes. Is there anything that can make the DIC go bad before its time? After I put the new/used one in the codes went away without resetting for a little while.
Have cleaned/replaced MAF sensor, cleaned throttle body and put on new o-rings, new plugs, tried iridium and then switched back to OEM NGK's.
Thanks

Not really. I would imagine cracked plugs could do it, if it's shorting out, but the units re pretty isolated.

Spend the $$ on the airtex/wells replacement and be done with it. It's ~$150-ish, and is as good as, or better than a new SAAB cassette

If priming the fuel pump is helping, you need new fuel line check valves.
