Like most new projects, I think you can only really find all the loose ends when you start building it. Then it kind of becomes an issue of how much time and money you want to invest. T5 can definately be tuned to support the increased air flow, and supercharged engines can certainly make good power low down. The downside is that you will lower the max power level since there is only so much you can decrease pully sizes.
