Well thought it time to post preliminary info on what I have been playing with on my 2.3i shop car.
Inlet manifold swap to short runner turbo for more topend, lost midrange.
Cam timing both intake and exhaust. Can vary power all over the place.
V6 maf swap 60mm > 70mm diameter. Not right but works 50%
T5 Injector to make the above work, increased fuel press 3.5/4.0 maybe.
I will get some plots up sometime. Some worked some didn't.
Tonight head comes off, switching to B2x5 thinner headgasket = more compression and while the head is off going to throw a t7 head with the same 234i cams just to see.
Maybe then my T5 harness will be here and I can get to actually calibrating it rather than swapping airflow parts.
Making N/A power is quite challenging and lots of fun! No 50hp gains here.
