stacking headgaskets could work to lower the compression ratio. WHich is a possibility.
Ethanol would be a neat trick. Id say just throw boost at it, and keep it low and monitor AFR's
another neat trick would be to get an APC from a c900 and use that to control boost based on knock! that would be real trick!
of course another car would be needed to use while doing all of this, so the kid still has reliable transportation
