Came across a few rare examples and stuck them here for future reference.

In maintaining the Comm Ed registry, it was my understanding that only the '94 Commemorative Edition cars were painted in Nova Black Metallic.

Found this non-Comm Ed example that is in the SAAB Museum.

Check out the funky mid-century modern interior--and the soft boot.

Here's a 1993 from the UK in Nova Black with Dover Grey interior, walnut dash, CE wheels, and SPG panels. I have no idea if it's a repaint or was originally this color. The online classified did not list it as a special-edition car. It did say that the wheels were refinished.

I've got a soft boot from my wife's old c900. They are a bigger PITA to put on than the 3-piece boot, but they take up a lot less space in the trunk. The one thing I didn't like about it is that you had to drill holes in the rear seat panels, the front seat belt housings and in the drip channel in the trunk to screw snaps in, and apply a bunch of sticky-backed velcro. You had to snap about 16 snaps and hook the velcro every time you put it on. If they had designed some kind of j-channel to hook the trunk channel end in and then just stretch and snap the front in it would have been a lot easier.

You can still buy a soft boot from PartsForSaabs.com

Love the gas tank--do want!

Rarest of the rare, end-all-be-all, game over, take your ball and go home.

Saab 900 Convertible Hardtop:

Somewhere in the world, one of these is sitting in a garage just waiting for me to find it...
How on earth would the back of that attach to the car? Creating one might not be so hard as you would think...

Several pics are from "LIFETIMEOFSAABS" and the Silver SPG is care of "88SPG." Its one of two known legit silver SPG's. His was "awarded" to the dealer for being the #1 Saab dealer in the country for that year. What #1 means...who knows. Sales? Quality? Service?

The window sticker shows it all though. Silver 943M = silver SPG.

This is pretty obvious - I've only seen one other of the US spec rear 2dr/4dr/convertible decor panel:

A few I know of that I don't have pics of:

-c900 Factory moonroof
-Factory replacement bulb pack
-Windscreen wash-spray deflectors (fit to the front of the a-pillars)

Oh and the fuel injector rail cover which I own two of but can't find any pictures of either of them.

^I'm pretty sure oliversexpedition has like 3 of those tonneau covers, and was looking to sell one or more.

The rear wiper setup was actually fairly common in the European market.

Delorean found one of those on a junkyard trip in MD. Paid less than $20 IIRC. :)

we used to go through these in pr about every couple of years. those 900 trannies are so very vulnerable. and pr roads are similar to nyc's and boston. just terrible.

it makes me question how the hell some people do that labrador road trip...
and then effin raul just blatantly off-roading his car. fucker really is best on the net.

I used to think the convertible ski racks were the holy grail. I've since bought three. The ex did install the one he got for his birthday (or was it Christmas, I forget) on his car. I think it requires drilling or some crap and that ain't happening on my ComEd.

The c900 dog gate is pretty damn neat:

It has two tines that plug into the headrest receivers and tension the top against the headliner:

Got two of these now, but no doggie to leap on the wrong side of them. :( Turbo Dog is still in Illinois with my parents....

Well, you're ahead of the game then with giving only a debit card to the Malamute. Turbo Dog+Credit Card+D.C. Nightlife=Years of repaying debt.

The only thing about these is is they are an absolute bitch to ship because of that 55-degree bend in them (or so). I'll take a better look at the second one when I get home this weekend, but both times I've sourced these I've picked them up from the seller.
